Karla Redding-Andrews inducted to the Community Foundation of Central Georgia Board of Directors

On July 11 Karla Redding-Andrews was welcomed into the Community Foundation of Central Georgia's board of directors. The CFCG has been working to enhance the quality of life for the people of Central Georgia since 1993 by encouraging citizens to work towards a common goal, as well as, philanthropy. 

Redding-Andrews has shown over the course of 10 years that her passion is to improve the lives of residents and the community through music and education.Redding-Andrews is the current Executive Director of the Otis Redding Foundation and founder of the Otis Music Camp.

She is also affiliated with several other groups that strive to improve the community. These organizations include the Georgia Music Foundation board, Roobert McDuffie Center for Strings Board of Visitors, Leadership Macon, Macon Rotary Club, Macon's International Cherry Blossom Festival board and the Georgia Film, Music & Digital Entertainment Advisory Commission. 

In addition to being active in seven organizations, Redding-Andrews and her DREAM Academy team are in the process of opening an arts-intergraded charter school in August 2018. Redding-Andrews is the current chairperson for the Governing Board of the DREAM Academy.
