
The Otis Redding Foundation presents the 4th Annual King of Soul™ Festival on Sept. 12 and 13, 2025 in Macon, Georgia to benefit the newly-opened Otis Redding Center for the Arts.
In celebration of Otis Redding’s 84th birthday and his historic performances in New Orleans, the legendary Preservation Hall Jazz Band, joined by special guests Yola, Lamont Landers, Dexter Redding and Charles Davis, will headline the gala event “An Evening of Respect” at 7:00 PM on Friday, September 12 at the Macon City Auditorium.
The celebration continues on Saturday, September 13 with the Big 'O' Homecoming Show & Dance featuring New Orleans' own Mannie Fresh, DJ, rapper and platinum-selling producer.

Preservation Hall Jazz Band headlines "An Evening of Respect" with special guest artists Yola, Lamont Landers, Dexter Redding and Charles Davis. For over 60 years, the Preservation Hall Jazz Band has embodied the musical spirit of New Orleans—where global cultures and traditions converge and evolve. The band remains a living legacy, blending preservation with innovation and carrying the sounds of the Crescent City into the future.
Balcony seats are available to the public at $55 + fees. Tickets go on sale Friday, July 24 at 10 AM and will be available at the Macon Coliseum Box Office and through Ticketmaster.

The 4th Annual King of Soul™ Festival honoring Otis Redding continues on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025, with the "Big 'O' Homecoming Show & Dance" at Capitol Theatre in downtown Macon. Proceeds from the gala event benefit the Otis Redding Center for the Arts.
Mannie Fresh, the New Orleans-based DJ, rapper and hit record producer will get everyone on the dance floor. An integral force behind Cash Money records, Mannie has produced artists including Lil Wayne, Juvenile, T-Pain, T.I. and more, plus his own hip-hop duo, Big Tymers.
General Admission tickets are $20 + $6.94 in service fees.
