Zelma Redding celebrates her 75th birthday
On October 7, 2017, Zelma Redding celebrated her 75th birthday with close friends and family.
Zelma, president of the Otis Redding Foundation, continues to make sure her husband's dream and name live on. Over the course of several years, Zelma has impacted the lives of many young musicians.
“Otis was providing young people with scholarships in 1963 with the emergence of his success,” says, Zelma. “And through the Otis Redding Foundation, we continue his dream to empower all young people with an education.”
As head of the estate of Otis Redding, she works each day to promote the image, likeness and catalog of music her husband left.
