The Otis Redding Foundation and Others Join the First Lady at the White House

What an amazing week! We were so excited to be a part of this incredible journey to the White House. We will be sharing more videos and photos, but in the meantime, here is a video of the musicians and the students who interviewed them, featuring our own Jared Andrews, who was part of the group who interviewed Andra Day.

The First Lady welcomed more than 130 middle school, high school, and college students from across the country for "The Musical Legacy of Ray Charles: Student Workshop" at the White House on February 24, 2016. She was joined by Robert "Bob" Santelli, Executive Director of The GRAMMY Museum, Yolanda Adams, Leon Bridges, Andra Day, Demi Lovato and Jussie Smollett. The workshop was held in advance of "Smithsonian Salutes Ray Charles: In Performance at the White House."
