Robert McDuffie Center for Strings Student Producing Otis Redding Foundation Fundraiser

Music in the Macon Concert FlyerOtis Redding, III will be performing with other Macon musicians to highlight the history and future of Macon music, and to raise money for the Otis Redding Foundation. The show will take place Friday, May 8 at 7:30 p.m. at the Library Ballroom in downtown Macon.

The event is being produced by a student at Mercer University's Robert McDuffie Center for Strings, Taylor Yasui. He will be performing as part of the Center for Strings' Quartet. Other music to be performed includes "Little Martha," by the Allman Brothers, which was arranged for strings by Adam Ragusea for GPB's Songs on Site.

Otis Redding, III will be performing two songs, and Floco Torres, Macon rapper and Otis Music Camp coach, will also be performing two songs, all performances will be accompanied by the Center for Strings students.
