Karla Andrews-Redding adds another organization to her list

Karla Redding-Andrews is a woman with many hats. She is a mother, a dreamer, a business woman, an executive director and the newest member of the Macon's International Cherry Blossom Festival Board of Directors. 

Macon is home to over 300,000 Yoshino cherry trees and every March the trees bloom and turn the city pink. In honor of these beautiful tree, Macon hosts a 10 day festival where locals and visitors come to celebrate at the "pinkest party on earth."

Redding-Andrews and the rest of the Macon International Cherry Blossom Festival Board are in charge of keeping this very important Macon tradition alive and pink. 

Along with being the Otis Redding Foundation's Executive Director and apart of the Macon International Cherry Blossom Festival Board, Redding-Andrews is apart of six other organizations. These organizations include the Georgia Music Foundation board, Roobert McDuffie Center for Strings Board of Visitors, Leadership Macon, Macon Rotary Club, Community Foundation of Central Georgia and the Georgia Film, Music & Digital Entertainment Advisory Commission.
