The Otis Redding Foundation presents the 10th Annual Otis Music Camp at Mercer University’s Townsend School of Music at 1329 Adams St, Macon, GA 31201. The 10-day music camp takes place from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Camp is intended for students with varied musical knowledge; however, no previous musical experience or knowledge of instrumentation is required.

– Camp Fee: $300 (please note: credit card payments will incur a $7 fee to cover the processing costs)
– Ages 11 to 17
– Space is limited
– Lunch is included daily
During the two-week program, campers will experience:
-Fundamentals of songwriting, vocals and production
-Q&A session with professional singer, songwriters and producers
-Workshops in lyric writing, voice lessons, instrument instruction, music industry-related topics and dance
-Education on performance, stage presence and branding
-AT&T presents Garage Band program instruction seminar
-Write, produce & record a minimum of one piece of work
-A select number of music videos will be produced
-Showcase performance by all campers on June 16, 2017
